Every seven years, Mom's birthday falls on Mother's Day. This year, to celebrate this rare event, we spent the last day of our trip in Beloved Laughlin, where we each gambled $59 in honor of Mom's 59 years. Josh and I threw a party in Coco's hotel room for the birthday/Mother's Day event. It was supposed to coincide with the Lakers game, but we missed it. However, Mom and Coco both said that the Lakers' win was the best present of all, aside from time with us kids.
