Today Mom, Jean, Coco and I drove up to Santa Barbara and ate dinner on the pier. During dinner we watched pelicans diving for their dinner, but I could never quite get them at the right moment. So here's a photo of the post-dive splash. You can imagine that there is a large pelican right beneath the water, there, and that a moment later he came up and swallowed his fish.
