Barnsdall Art Park is under construction. It has a long and venerable history that I can't really go into here, but it involves oil millionaires, socialists, looting, Frank Lloyd Wright and many artists. They're tearing it all up, supposedly to make it better but I don't know, I'm pretty worried about it. It's really such a great place and such a genuinely good part of Hollywood and LA and I'll just be so sad if it's ruined. Here it is through the construction fence. |
